Crazy!

OK... I am trying to import a bunch of tables from one file.mdb to another.

When I do, access cuts off data in each of the tables...Why? It's as if there's some sort of limit to the number of records it will allow...but my tables aren't big... like 6,000 records... so why is access cutting out this data?!?!

Is there some setting i am missing that makes Access want to do this? All I am doing is a straight import from one Access database to another...I've never had this problem in the past.

Compact and repair both databases.

Ya

I did that... I think it might be a network issue... Because I copied both to my hard drive and then did the import and it worked... But I can't trust my imports now... I still have to find out what is going on... so if anyone has any ideas along these lines I would be happy to hear/read them.

Sounds like you already have a good idea whats going on.

Without being there we have no way to test your network.

Perhaps you should reboot your servers if you havent done so in a while.
