Hello,

Hoping someone will help me with my problem.

I have a small Tickler Access Database just to keep track of customers and follow-ups on different things.

I need to create a Due Date from the [Last Date] and then another field which will contain number of days [Days] that they want the [Due Date] to be and this needs to be done on the Form that they are inputting the data for a customer.

Example:
Last Date: 11/30/2021
Days: 56
Due Date: 1/25/2022

Is this possible?

I did try but nothing worked, and I could not find anything like I need online…or that I understood anyway.

I thank you for any help.

One way to do this is to create the tickler when you initially respond. So. Something happens and you need to check back in 25 days. Create a record with a date 25 days in the future. These records need a "respond" indicator. Probably a date so you can keep track of whether you are responding in a timely fashion.

Then, whenever Suzy opens the database, you run a query that counts the number of ticklers that are still open for Suzy and if it is greater than 0, open a form otherwise just open the normal menu.
