Create a Word document using a template

I am trying to open a new MS word document using an existing template, merge information from the Access form into the document and use the primary key of the form as the name of the document. I know how to merge the information from the form into the document but I have to remember and manually save the document so the name is correct. Any suggestions would help.

I hope it's ok if i simply ask how you transported the fields to the template?

Are you using bookmarks and VB code to do so. If so, then in what manner are you referring to the fields?
