how do I put in a amount and have that a field on access?
 
Hi welcome to the forum! That question is very vague. Do you already have tables set up? Forms?
 
Yes, I have a table and there is information that I need but it does not have anything in it and there is no common factor. Example. I would like to have Meals @$30.00 per day fix and also $.55 for mileage. and hotel rate left blank for entry.
 
Please try to understand that all we know about your problem is that which you tell us - which at the moment, is not enough to be able to understand what you're trying to achieve.

What are you trying to achieve? What is the purpose of your database/application - what kind of data and process does it handle and what tables, forms and queries does it already contain so far?
