I think the bottom line is, it will be hard work, and I doubt it's anything many of us have ever considered doing.

I've got news for you. It's not something I've ever considered in the past, either, and I've been playing this game since 1995!

It's sorta like losing your virginity. It's scary the first time but after a while you get the hang of it.

I want to thank all of you for your help.

In the end, I settled on a very simple solution. The OnOpen event starts a timer, and the OnTimer event closes the form. I can leave the form visible for any length of time I choose and just have it go away.

It may not be elegant, but it serves the purpose. Thank you all again.
