I have never did a report before and I was wondering if someone could give me some help setting it up. I am attaching the database that includes the table that the report will be using. In the report section I also have a report that I have been working on but I need help in finishing it.
Also in the zip attachment is a excel spreadsheet of how the report should look. I need help in setting up fields for the totals. I am guessing that would be another section of detail in the report but I don't know how to add and remove sections from a report. I also don't know how to do calculated fields. I can calculate outside the report, but how would I set it up so that the fields on the report are connected to my recordset? Also right now the report is selecting every record from the table. How would I specify what records I want to select for the report? I want to be able to specify in code, since I am using an program to print the report from.
I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone can help me with any part of this I would be very greatful.
I am using Access 2000, so if anyone that is helping me is having trouble opening the database because you are using 97, let me know and I will convert my database to the older version.
