Hi All
I am having some difficulties creating an invoice that is based on a form and subform. It might be easier if i send the database to someone to look at but I will try to explain. The form comes up and you select the employee name. It populates most of the form fields. Then in the subform you select a service and fill in a service date. The invoice is not recieving all the data. I noticed that the table ive created for the two forms is not fully populated. I'm very confussed as to what went wrong. I am a novice so thats probably the problem. Would anyone like to venture on this one? Thanks for any help in advanced.
Tom

Can you zip your database and post it here?

Thanks for your reply doss

The file is alittle too big. I could email it to you.

Yes, you can email it to me.....but I warn you, no garuntees that I can fix your problem.....

:)

That's why I was hoping you would be able to post it so that everyone would have a chance to look at it. Better chance of you getting your problem solved...

You might make a copy and then delete some of the extraneous info and do a compact and repair. That might shrink it down some...

But send it to me and I will have a look.....

Pat,

It's actually a little more complicated than that I think. He sent me the database yesterday right before I had to leave work, so I haven't really had any time to look at it.

I took a brief peek this morning and there is a problem with structure/relationships. He's got primary keys set up, but isn't using them....and it seems like there's also something with some duplicate fields between the Orders and Employees tables.

Since you have a ton more experience than me, you will probably be able to take one look at this and tell him exactly what he needs to do....whereas it may take me a bit longer.

Or if anyone else out there has any ideas to help..... :)

Here is a printscreen of the relationships. If you want me to forward the database to you, I can.....just let me know....

Thanks
