Criteria Question

Criteria Question....

I've got a field in my query that calculates distance between the point in the query, and the point selected on a form. Also, on this form, I have fields for Max Distance and Min Distance. I'm trying to get the query to return points that are within the max and min selected.

If I say Between 10 and 200 in the Criteria, it works fine. but if I put in Between Forms![formname]![MinDistance] And Forms![FormName]![MaxDistance] it doesnt work. It will return a few points, but some may be very far away. Just wondering if anyone has any tips.

Try this:

In your query design mode, from the query menu select parameters. Then enter your [Form]![FormName]![MinDistance] and ...[MaxDistance] as parameters and specify the data type (integer?).
