Crosstab Query (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I have an issue with a crosstab query.
I have two tables

Tbl_Main with a one to many relationship with Tbl_Expenditure as per the attached excel spreadsheet.

I need to add two records with the same date as the cheques were both written on that day. But I need to record them on different records since they have different cheque numbers. But as you can see it then shows both dates but repeats the values under both therefore when running the report I am getting an incorrect value.

I suppose firstly is this possible, if not is there another way to do this.

I welcome any suggestions.
If anybody can help it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
