I thought this would be a neat post. I am interested to see some names people have.

When I was a child we had a dog named Corby and after my mom and dad got divorced my mom had a cat named Wisky.

I had a rescue St Bernards once whose name was Cowboy so when the Rodesian Ridgeback puppy I'd ordered arrived I had to call him Indian.

Cats
BK, Mya, Takos, Gaby, Ashleigh, Jennifer, JD, Jake and Stinky the cat.
Dogs
GirlDog, BrownDog, Pooman, Hamish, Dug, Eugene, Dudley, Eddie P Heady and Shithead the toy poodle.

We have 2 dogs - Amber (Rhodesian Ridgeback) and Spike (Short Haired Terrier. And 5 cats - Zen, Tori (short for Sartori), Clementine, Oliver , and Thomas. Unfortunately Varni (shor for Nirvana) died a while ago - probabably reincarnated as a human living a good life right now)

Only had one unusual one in my family - cheeky - and she was but one of my friends has 2 greyhounds name Mr Bridger (The Italian Job, just in case no one has seen it - which if you haven't watch it right now :p) and Ripley after Sigourney Weaver's character in Alien (s) as she looked like a little Alien complete with whipping tail.

One of our miniature dachshunds is called Lefty Bumblefoot. Our Neighbour has three dogs called Slug, Pellet and Lettuce

I had a cat named Mouse, mainly because he had a very high pitched voice.

LOL @ shithead.
When I was a young girl, out neighbors got a new dog.
They took weeks to name him.
In the interium, they would call "Hey.... Dog!"
The name stuck even after they picked a new name.
Forevermore he would only answer to "HeyDog."

Our current dog's name is Dixi and she responds to Nebby, because she is (Scottish for nosey).

The cat responds more to a meowing sound than her name.

The husband responds to anything as long as you have a beer in your hand ;)

dogs called bonnie cause the boat at the time was call clyde, due our first baby in Jan and the current boats called pie, somehow she won't accept chips mash or steak as a kids name :)

I knew someone who had a white Scottie dog and called it ******.

What celebrity named their baby Apple?
Was it Gwenyth Paltrow?
