Daily attendance tracking

Hello all,
i'm kind of stuck. I"m finishing a database for a daycare center. the only thing i'm really stuck with is the attendance portion of the database. the attached pic shows how the attendance has to work. It would be a form in which i have a listbox with all the active students and when i double click on their names they move from the listbox on the left side to another list box or it can be a subform table on the left. the new attendance record has to be stamped with the time in. thank you in advance.

Well the Attended list should definitely be a subform, bound to a table, otherwise your data won't persist. 1 way to achieve what u want is doing a:

Dim db as DAO.Database
Dim rs as DAO.Recordset
Set db = CurrentDB()
Set rs = db.OpenRecordSet("tblAttended", dbOpenDynaset)
rs.AddNew
rs!StudentID = Me.lstStudent.Column(0)
rs!TimeAttended = Time
rs.Update
rs.Close
Me.subAttended.Form.Requery
End Sub
