Hi

I have a straightforward hierachical table structure and several forms sourced from queries. The problem is only evident in the site to contact relationship, the parent customer to site relationship works fine.

When I enter the test data it shows until I move to another parent record and then the child record is no longer displayed in the form, although the data shows correctly in the table.

I've checked through the relationships and can't seem to find anything wrong.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I've stripped the db down and enclose a copy to show what I mean.

Thanks in advance

It looks like your queries do not filter on the first tab of the form, so in theory should show everything.

Probably the query on the first form is affecting the sub forms in some manner, and since I don't use sub forms, good luck in finding the correct reult.

Post up when you've found it so others can see what you did.

Subforms

Hi Vince

Subforms drive me bananas, what do you use instead?

Usually use listboxes, first column is hidden and holds the unique ID, then the form below it for editting/creating. In this case I've run up a form, its bound in places, but you can amend that if you so desire :)

See attached for example :)
