Hello All,

I had created a database a number of months back and received wonderful advice and constructive criticism from you. After getting halfway through and seeing some requests come through from management on what they want to see or improvements, it looks as though there will have to be some retooling done to the database like moving some fields to different tables as there is duplicate entry fields.

What would be your best advice as to how to go about doing it? Would you import all the tables into a new database and then append the data to where it needs to go or keep working within the one I have?

I can be more specific if you need me to.
Thank you!!

I can do that...I have most of the original idea on paper.

I will be posting there shortly.

thank you so much!

Personally, the theory is one thing but it is only when you create the outputs that you really get to grips with what your solution is trying to acheive. There maybe existing paper-flow that you need to emulate.

Consider this as Stage 2 development. At least the management can see the potential and are wanting to develop the database further which is always a good sign.

We all learn as we go along and hopeful will always learn.

Simon
