datasheet view font

As you say, though, it is awkward taking that to hotels with you?
I used to use my laptop as one screen and a monitor in work for another.

Now retired, this 27" is ample for me and my laptop lid is closed.

Not sure what you mean by "Access settings menu" - Properties Sheet? OP did not mention subform is involved. I did not test as subform and Datasheet is form's default.

Yes, I changed setting in File > Options > Datasheet. It did not change form display, only table and query.

Thanks for testing that.

Is the subform actually a subform or is the query just pasted in as the subform name?

Subform is a form in Datasheet view. Doesn't matter, form will not reflect font setting.

If a table or query is used as SourceObject, font setting will work.

If I recall this correctly, the datasheet view is actually based on a form stored in an Access template file (.ACCDT). Supposedly, if you can find that file, you can alter all future datasheets. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding mine because of something I did when I customized my Win11/Office 2021 LTSC combo.

Doc, mine are in C:\Users\Paul\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\DTS\en-GB{50F7BB8B-969B-4ABA-BFB1-A0F7347DABBC}

Either I don't have a template file OR it is in an unexpected place because the only thing in my path that is similar to yours are some .PNG files. Part of that might be due to having Office LTSC with a click-to-run setup. Part of it might be due to having exercised a Win11 option as to which disk I use for my files. The machine I run has an SSD and an HDD, and I immediately changed everything to minimize the SSD. Guess I'm a bit gun-shy but I've had three SSDs die on me in the last 10 years and don't want to have to go through another round of backup recovery quite so soon.

I believe that for the LTSC case, templates might be downloaded. If so, it might be necessary to actually CREATE a template locally and somehow make it an Add-In, but I'm not totally sure about that.

There are png files plus the accdt files. I believe, you are correct in that you need to invoke the template icon to get it downloaded.

I don't have an .ACCDT file or Icon. Only .PNG files.

I meant the icons in Access for New.
They appear to match the png files?
Look at my page files and then look at New option in Access.

Your display showed at least one .ACCDT file. I have none.
