Datasheet View Refresh Problem

I have a form with two comboboxs where I want the value of the first to indicate the list options of the second. This form is viewed as a datasheet.

I have found that if doing an "after update" refresh event in the first field, any values in the second field for previously entered records disappear. The same thing seems to happen when using a requery option as well.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I thought would be a simple thing to accomplish?

Thanks.

Send a short example of your MDB, (access 2000 or 2002-2003).

Attached is the components of the database (A2K) in question. I have it that the refreshing occurs in the second (Dose per Unit) field in the "enter" event.

Thanks.

1) There are 3 combo boxes (not 2).
2) Where is the table "tblMedsFrequency-Keep?
3) There No Relationships.
4) No Primary key in "tblDragList".

The third combobox isn't relevent to the problem so I didn't include it or mention it. It's just the two initial comboboxes. Sorry for any confusion.

I made this quickly to include in this thread so I didn't cross all the "t"s or dot all the "i"s. The issues you mention aren't relevent to the problem anyway--or are they?

Helo Lenovo User!
Here it is (attachment, zip).
I made some change on the form.
I made a new "frmResMedsTrack" (Default view = continuous form).
Your form is "frmResMedsTrackXX".
I made a change in the "Record Source", and in combo box "DrugDoseID".
I made a change in VBA.
I can't to see a fields "PtID" and "DoseUnit" in the your form.
Open "frmResMedsTrack" and try.
I think it is what you want.
I Forgot, make a change in "Sub Form_Current"
Add a code
Me.DrugDoseID.Requery
