Sorry, but your post is way too vague for any kind of reasonable answer!

"Columns" and "rows" are really an alien concept to Access; they're both spreadsheet terms.

Do you want to change a given field in a single record, in some records, in all records, or are you trying to make a given record (what you're calling row) or records stand out?

We really need to know a great deal more in order to help you.

And no, the Column Property in Access, which only concerns the field position in comboboxes/listboxes, will be of no help here.
