Date conversions in a report

I am building a report to calculate the total number of hours a vehicle has worked during a period of 10 days. The data in the databes (external) returns a field L_DURATION that gives the value 805.018,00 which represents about 10 days of work.

How can i convert this to hours and minutes

This may help http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=141935 - its not the same but in essence one way would be to format the answer into each of its separate hours/minutes/seconds parts, do the maths e.g. x24 or x60 and then add them up.

Thanks Ted, i´ll try this, do you happen to know if the data i now have in the L_DURATION field is in seconds or some other format. According to the supplier of the odbc database (sybase) the field is seconds but when i try to divide it by 60 and 24 i get the wrong answers

you need to divide by 60 twice (360) then 24. If you do that, you get ~ 9.32.
