date expression format conundrum

Hi, all-

I am using a dateadd function in a querie. The field used is formated for (and masked for data entry with) date and time.

The function works fine. When I run I get date and time. However, I want to add criteria to the query to select from between two dates for the expression field. What I am getting are dates that aren't between the two criteria dates (right month, wrong year). I also find that if I put specific dates in the criteria, the # signs do not appear. I tried reformting the expression using cdate and selecting "Short Date" format in properties. None of this is working.

Any ideas?

Could you please post a sample of your Between dates criteria (Exactly as you write it in the query)?
