Date field on a form

Date problem: On a form I have a text box defined as a date field. When the cursor is on the field, the time is displayed rather
than the short date format specified in the properties for that field. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

Put this in the input mask :
99/99/00;0;_
Or you can go through the wizard and it will give other choices!
