Not sure if this is posted in the right area! but if anyone's got any suggestions for a small but very annoying Date format problem it would be appreciated. In the UK we use the dd/mm/yy format and in my tables the date fields are set to medium date (19-jun-94) and the machines set to GMT, but unfortunately some times when we perform queries on this table the date changes to mm/dd/yy format, thus rendering the results inaccurate.

Any ideas would be most welcome; I’ve spent too many hours trying to track this one down.

I think that you're confusing the Access' date data format and the date display format.

Query based on the Access' date data format. Then worry about displaying the data.

Try setting the format of your date fields in the query too.

Why do you set the tables to medium date, set to short date, just use the Format property of the form/report to display the format you require

Thanks guys
I had set the properties in the query but it still keeps happening, trouble is not all the time!
