Date input

Hi Hope you can help. I have a table which I display in a form. The table has two Date/Time fields. In one field I can input and display in UK format no problem but the other field although it displays in UK format I have to input it in US style (month/day/year) Both fields were created at the same time and both have the same settings, so what is going on. This only happens on one computer running Windows 7 on my other computers running Windows 8 it is OK. I have checked the language settings and they are set to UK.:banghead:

have you tried inputting exactly the same date into both fields?
Also is this a standard Access database or does it have a SQL server back-end?
