Can you have a date/time stamp on a form to see when it was entered?

Since it is near impossible for me to be "real time" with the data and when reports are run from the database right now, I would like be be able to say to a manager I received the information on this day but did not input it until this day.

Eventually I do not see this being a problem but it may help to with lag times between when the information comes from the field into the HR office and then finally to me. The email portion is easily trackable obviously but I need to be able to say this is the entry date.

Thank you!

You can have a field with a default value of Now(), which will automatically place the date/time the record is created in the field.

Thank you!!
One more question...can you have 2 combo boxes in the same table? I am almost done updating the table with the information and it will not allow me to have a combo box in more than one field. Is there a reason for this or am I doing something wrong?

What would your suggestion be?

The fields that I want to have lookups in would be Document1 and Document2 which are both the same thing I would need to choose between card and certificate and the third field is Personnel and I need to choose between Supervisory and Craft.

Using the lookup fields seemed to be the simplest and easiest solution since the fields options are small. What would be a better option?

Lookup tables are fine, it's the lookup field that most of us recommend against. In a form, you'd use a combo to get values from the lookup table.

Ok, I will have to add more tables to the db for those combo's that I need. It may end up working out for me as I move onto the other portions for licensing and certifications.
