Day order not alphabetical

I have a query that contains both the day number 1 -7 based on a convert val from the short date, as well a field that by use of a function converts those numbers into days.

How can I get the Graph in Access to display the days in the correct order, e.g Mon Tue etc etc , not Fri, Mon etc etc

I hope you can help as this problem is seriously eating into my development schedule and I am sure it is something so simple

can't you sort on the numeric value of the month?
