I want to be able to:

Add information about a person, let's say John Smith. For example, age, date of birth, photo of them, phone number, eye color, left or right handed, etc basically a profile of them.

And now when I have let's say 50 people on the database, and I want to find someone, I would like to be able to search on keywords, let's say I search for Smith or John, or maybe Blue eyes, and the information comes up with all the people who has the most "in common" with my search.

Is there a program that can do this? Anyone know?

Hi

What you are looking for is possible with any relational database. Access, for example, would allow you to set up simple queries that could return all records that matched whatever criteria you entered. You could also set up filtering options to show you only the records you are looking for.

The important thing is to ensure that the information you wish to search for is contained within a field and that the contents are standardised so that you can base your selections on standard queries, for example, a query to select all records where [eyeColour] = 'blue'

I see, do you know where I can get this? Preferably free, and if not free, it should have a demo so I could test it out first.

Also, would it be possible to change the "interface" of the database? Making it look more like, a CIA or FBI interface. (Just examples)

And one more thing, I do not wish this database to be on a website or server anywhere, but simply inside my computer. Is this possible as well?
