In the country-settings op my PC, decimal separator is "," and thousends-separator is ".".
Eg.: 1.789,75 euro is the correct format.
When using an INSERT-instruction, the "," stands normaly for a new value passed through to the indicated field.
When I have an amount with decimals, it goes wrong ! Access takes the decimal separator for "new value" in the next field. So at the end of the INSERT-instruction : I even have 1 more value than there were fields (and Access is creating an error) because the amount 1.789,75 is handle as a value 1789 and a second value 75.
The insert is working correct after having changed my country-settings, but I'm not happy about it. All my data in excell, access are changes now. (1,789.75 euro is now shown)
Do You have a sollution, just to keep my original country-settings ?
