Sorry to drag up an old thread but as this forum is so invaluable to me I like to post if I work things out from the clues obtained by searching.
I was wanting to have All at the top of a list but didn't like the (All) or [All], i thought it didn't look good with the brackets so I tried in my union query " All" note the space before the A and it works great and although it is slightly not lined up, its un-noticable really and alwys at the top of the list.
