hello,
I have Office XP on Win ME, and not sure if this has anything to do with my problem...
I have no problem in creating tables, etc., but after creating a table and I click on the View button, I get a very very funny font (field name and content). Then I change the font on the format menu, save the table and voila, it works.
I have then tried to set the default font on the options menu, but in the dropdown-box there is not one single font visible. I am not even able to type in the font name. Nothing. This is getting somewhat problematic for me, because sometimes I forget to manually change the font, and this has some consequences.
I then got an 'expert' to firstly de-install Win ME, Office, and most of my other software, because these caused clashes, were not compatible, Win 9x/Me allows only 400 fonts to be installed... Problem still not solved.
Any suggestions??
Thanks
