Delete Query

Hey Guys.... This maybe simply but it has me stumped......

I have made the query that appends a data from table 1 to table 2 based on certain criteria.

What I would like to do now is delete the data from table 1 that I have just appended to table two.

Is there an easy way of doing this. I am sure there is... Any help right now would be a blessing as my deadline is rapidly approaching.

Make a new query selecting fields from your original table under the same criteria you used to append data to the new table. Change this to a "delete" query and it will delete all those rows.

(If you're unsure about what you're doing, make a backup of your table first just in case... )

Hey thanks thouston for the advise....

I never thought of doing it that way. I decided to go about it a different way instead of using a "Delete Query", but i will certainly remember that trick for another time.
