Deleting images for good

My database is about 300kb...

let's say i added a few images in a couple of forms, but i noticed i've put the wrong one. All the pics were Embedded. But i've notice when i take them off from the propreties, the file size is around 10 mb.

I would like to delete them for good , so my database is back to 300kb.

Also, is it normal if my database goes from 400kb to 1.8 mb After i inserted ONE background picture (a 10 kb jpg)?

You need to compact / repair your database regularly if you make changes.
