I have been experimenting with exporting,delimited text files.
I have noted that despite the fact the originating table is sorted in "date descending order",the resulting delimited text file appears in a random format (not in same date order),although it keeps groups of items (in this case location) together.
Does anyone know what criteria Access applies when deciding the write order,or how to define the write order.
Its not critically important,but the random order does make it annoying if u want to look up something in date order in the text file
