My db has a one-to-many relationship set up between two tables, the one being an Items table and the many being a Serial #'s table. Daily, we were sending Access-written reports out which looked great with the Sorting and Grouping levels. However, the Project Managers are stating that they need this in Excel and that they don't want any levels. So essentially, they want a dump from a Select Query which seems easy enough. However, if one Item has many Serials, of course that Item will show up many times (3 serials, item shows up 3 times, each record's difference only being the Serial). So I'm looking for a method of denormalizing this data so that the Item will show one time and the many Serials will show up in the same field, maybe separated by a comma, or a slash, or whatever.
