Advanced Querry Help Please

I need to get a query/macro built but I can’t figure out how to do it. If any one can help please does your suggestion or solutions would be much appreciated.

This is the problem: I have an inventory of parts that go to our finished product. I need to write a query/macro to be able to find out how many of each finished product I can build based on how many parts I have in inventory. And then that quantity of parts has to be subtracted from the inventory to reflect the product that we are about to build.

I can't guarantee anything, but can you post some more info such as:

• What tables you have and what information they hold.
• How do you know how many parts go into the finished product? Have you got that information held in a table? If not, you'll probably need to.
• Is there more than one type of finished product?
• If you can post a demo, that would be helpful.
