Determine operating system within Access

I need to get hold of some Outlook files from within Access, and their location is different on XP and Vista/Win7.

I could of course do the heavy-duty thing, try to find the file, and on failure try the other option.

How can I determine in VBA under which operating system my application is running? I suscpet some Envirnoment-variable hides this info, but could not find anything in the docs offhand.

OK - under XP one can use Environ("OS") which seems to retunr Windows_NT in reply.
I don't have access to any Vista/Win7, so just wondering what those two will return.

Hmm they apparently return the same thing, and one has to do more fiddling.

One can obtain the OS info as described here in VBA :

but how can I get the information in the attached pictures. isn't it stored somewhere ?
