Disable field drilldown in group

I have a field which is the Product Description when you hover over this field it displays the magnifying glass enabling the user to click and drill down, which is of no use to the user in this case.

Is there anyway of disabling this drilldown option when a field placed in a group section?

What's wrong with suppressing the section below in the Section Expert?

Yes, I understand that. I never suggest you suppress whatever section your Product Description is on.

Since you say nothing about the layout of the report, I'm left to guess that you have at least one Group on your report. And on the Group Header there's the Product Description. So you Suppress the Detail and users can't drilldown. If it's on Group 1, you suppress Group 2 (the one below),etc.

Or is there something about the report you are not showing because I would have thought this was basic Crystal Reports usage?
