I was wondering if there is any way to prevent the "Windows Media Player" ActiveX control from autostarting. I'd prefer to have my users press the play button. If anyone knows of a way I'd appreciate the heads up.
I found a thread (http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=48000&highlight=play+video) that refers to setting the AutoStart property to No. However, the thread is significantly out of date and I cannot find that property anywhere.
To be clear, I'm using Microsoft Office 2003, ActiveX Control = "Windows Media Player", Default Name="WindowsMediaPlayer8", Class="WMPlayer.OCX.7"
