There are many ways of doing this. It depends how much 'security' you want. The mose basic way is to disable the built in toolbars via the Options-Startup and on the Forms properties, disable Shortcut Menu and Allow Design Changes to Design Mode only. To make it more secure, you can change more of the startup options, look at access security or search here for security which will pull up a plethora of results.

and say, if someone was to untick all the options in the startup menu, how would this peson get the options back??

This is, of course, hypothetical!!

Doesnt matter i got it back!

Oh, I forgot............... If you hypothetically lock yourself out after doing this, to open the Db normally, press the shift key when opening the database. (lol):D

You can also disable the shift key bypass (by switching it on and off) if you think the users may be aware of that function.

Can someone tell me how you disable the shift key?? Please
