Display a warning if form field unchanged

Quick question regarding a staff holiday form I have.

Basically the line manger goes into the database and uses a drop down list (field [Accept]) to select Accept or Decline. They then click a button which emails me stating that they have updated the request

On numerous occasions they don't update the request at all and the default value of "Awaiting TM Approval".

What do I need to add to the code in the button to put up a msgbox if the Accept field is still at its default value and halts the email process until they change it

How about not enabling the "email" button unless your conditions are met?

Would be better if you posted your code so far, then we can identify ways of changing it. There are usually different methods for doing this, but its best to see the code, to work out the best way to go, but it is possible.
