I am a beginner, but with the help of this website I have constructed a nice little Access database for my team to use at work. It helps them to coordinate their projects and tasks (within projects).
My database holds lists of projects, each of which has a start date, end date, and status. I have written some reports which print useful lists of projects and dates etc.
I wondered if it is possible somehow in Access to be able to print out a chart in the style of a graphical "project timeline" charts - the sort of thing that Microsoft Project does ?
I need some general hints of how to go about this or where to look - I have gotten very good at reading the Help facility !
PS We don't have Microsoft Project
PPS. Before anyone says, "why didn't you use Microsoft Project in the first place ?" - The answer is that the bulk of the user needs are database type activities (not project planning) - its just that one of the outputs needs to be in a timeline graph.
Grateful for any help
