Displaying a Memo Field in a Combo Box

Hello,

Could anyone tell me if it is possible to display the first 50 characters of a memo field in a combo box. The SQL for my row in the Combo box is as follows:-

SELECT [Show contact history].Date, [Show contact history].Description, [Show contact history].[Logged By], [Show contact history].[History ID], [Show contact history].Comments
FROM [Show contact history]
ORDER BY [Show contact history].Date;

You should be able to extract the first 50 chars by using Left(memofield,50)

Now, how about actually displaying 2-3 line paragrpaphs per item within a Combo Box? Otherwise DropDown part has to be extremely wide in my case.

I have a Part Name column (fairly short) but then a requirement description, usually a paragraph describing when the part is required.
