Displaying info from multiple tables

I need to display the name and phone number of a customer on the appointments form but I haven't been able to get it to link right. I can create appointments with the customer number in a subform in my customer information form, but can't display any information about the customers in the appointment form.

You need whats know as an auto lookup query that contains the Appointment Details record plus customers record details you need for the form.
Do a search for auto lookup here or goggle it

but in a nutshell you add the details you want from both tables but when you add the customers ID make sure it updates the appointments customers ID.

I think if memories working that you need a relationship between the two tables on customers ID ONE-MANY ?
