Displaying multiple pictures on one form

Hello everyone,

I am trying to display multiple pictures on a form?
I have a table in which each record has an OLE picture field.
I have a form that contains a listbox with the ID and name of each record. When a user selects a record in the listbox, the form is filtered on that record and the picture is displayed on the form.
I would like to go a step further and display the pictures of first 10 records in the listbox on the form at once. I've had no luck finding information on doing this and I would appreciate any advice.

To do this, you would need a subform filtered with the IDRecord as a link.

Your subform should be a continuous form, where your recordset would only allow the Top 10 to be shown.

You would have to play around with the actual format of the subform if you want it to display pictures. I would suggest having the subform displayed on the far right of the screen allowing for the full height with a vertical scroll bar. The actual width and height of each picture would depend on how many you want displayed without the user scrolling, (possibly 3 at time).

Thanks for the help.

Changing the default view to continuous forms is close to what I'm seeking. But the pictures are displayed vertically (up/down). I would like them to be displayed horizontally (left/right). Any ideas on how to go about doing this?

Unfortunately without a lot of vb coding and nested subforms, it can't be done easily. Thats why I suggested the format of bringing the subform over to the right and having it the full height of the main form thereby at least displaying a number of pictures at a time.

Each separate record requires its own line spacing.

Sorry, maybe someone has a different outlook on this.

Your idea about how to display the pictures gives me another avenue. However, the nested subforms/vb route is what I think I need to do. I'll just have to play around w/ it some more.

Never tried it but might a crosstab display the way you want.
