I did a show ticket booth.
The customer can choose a show from a list.
(There is many shows for many theatre.)
Then there is a map of the corresponding theatre with the seats in colours to represent the price of the section for that show. (Should be diffrent for every shows). There is also a colour for sold out seats.(DataGrid...Chalenging!)
He click on the seats he wants and get a receipt.
The manager can enter, with a password to add or remove a show.(Got to consider that there is only one show at a time in a theatre, but there could be more than one the same day with different hours.) The manager gives each new show one or many theatres, choose the price for the seats for that specific show. Put different prices depending on the day of the week or the time of the presentation. (ex.: half price for Tuesdays and 20% off on morning presentation [except on tuesdays].)
You need a form as an entry (where the customer choose the show and the manager enters his password), one with the datagrid for the customer and one for the manager's datas. A report for the customer's receipt and some for the management. (percentages, graphics, ...)
You need tables for the shows, theatres, sections seats, customers, ...
Its a good chaleng! Especialy if you never learned datagrids.
Good luck!
Don't forget to tell us what you choose, and come back if you need some help!
