I maintain a distributed application developed on Windows Vista and Access 2007. I recently had to re-install access and re-download the developer solutions.
Now, when I make a packaged solution CD, the disk will not auto load. This is machine independent, it won't auto load on any machine in our school. I was not having this problem before. I have windows installer 4.5 installed.
I replaced the autorun file with an archived version, but this did not solve the problem.
I can install the software by running the setup program and at the end of the process there is a message that the application already exists on the computer (not) and the installation failed. Then a successful completion message is shown.
I am stumped. Any suggestions?
