Dmax error

Havng an issue with the DMAX function. the function works for 1 cell but can not drag the formula on all the cells. below is the formula I am using

=DMAX(C$2:E$6,E2,A22:A23)

If I'm not mistaken, that's an Excel formula? Where are you attempting to use it?
