Hi,

I was just wondering if there was a way to stop a user from clicking the tabs in my form to switch pages. I want them to use a 'Next' and 'Back' button instead. This is because each page needs to be validated before the user can continue to the next one.

Set the tabs to None on the property sheet

What? In the propery sheet of the form? Where exactly is it?

Cheers

The properties of the Tab Control - not the form, and not any of the Tab's pages.

I'm clicking on the tab in design view and only brings up the page property. How do I get the tab control property?

For the page property (in format) I have:

Caption
Picture
Picture type
Page index
Visible
Left
Top
Width
Height

None of which have an option 'none'

GOT IT!! Managed to find it

Thanks for the help.

is there a way to hide the tabs but create a command button to navigate between 2 tabs? So when you click on the button, the subform jumps to tab 2, the button text changes and when you click on the same button, the tab jumps back to 1... etc? I'm trying to figure out how you are supposed to navigate your tabs without them being visible. haha, thanks!

Seem to me it'd be reinventing the wheel.

I was going to ask the same question, only to ask if one can put in validation rules when tab selection changes to validate the record before tab can be moved... Is that possible?
