DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport

hi,

i have a query with Trace Number in "ascending" order. when i use the code DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, the output Excel data are NOT in ascending order by Trace Number. Why is it so?

Just a few questions:

1. How many tables are you pulling data from?
2. Do your tables have Primary keys?
3. Could you show us your query

What you've done is Sort the results in the Datasheet view of the query but not in the query using ASC.

You need to go back to the design view, on the row called SORT select ASCENDING under your Trace Number field.
