Can someone help me with code to scan a document. I've searched everywhere but can't seem to find how to do this. I'm totally new to this but can't find examples. I have a xerox documate 272 scanner, and I want to scan my documents into a specified directory and save the file with a specified file name. This scanner works on it's own, with it's own software that self-activates when a page is loaded. It came with "OneTouch" software. But you have to find the directory and name the file each time a page is loaded. I'm sure there is a way of controling the directory and savefilename in vb so the user doesn't have to input each time. Is there anyone that can help me? I want to pull up the directory path to scan to, call up the scanner to scan, then create the savefilename.
