I've been looking all over to find out if you can code your modules in a .net language in Access 2007.

Hope this is the right place to post this. I'm a long time Access programmer, and I am wondering if Access is ever going from VBA to a .net framework?

Any help out there. Thanks in advance.

Maybe one of the MVP's who are on the site might have some info about the future of .NET in Access, but I can tell you that currently Access 2007 is still using VBA, which is based on VB6.

Thanks for the fast reply. That confirms what I thought after looking at various web pages about Access 2007. I'm not too concerned about the future but I guess I am curious about when an Access move to .net is going to happen if ever. I guess Access would have to become an all new product.

I wish you could code Access 2007 with .net because I'm trying to use .net as much as possible now.
