download selected linked tables

I use access 2007 on windows xp. In access have over a 100 linked tables to SQL Server. I want to run a micro to download selected tables into local machine, either to the same access file or a different access file.
any help will be appreciated.

Here are two options:

1) use a make table query to create th3 tables with data

or

2) create the tables and then use an append query to add the data to the tables.
