drop down box!!

I have a form that has as one of the columns the model number. Data is entered by a drop down box.
Usually this is no more than 8 characters in length so the width of the column is set to that. We've now had some models which are quite long. I don't want to change the width of the box unless I really have to but the drop down boxes are only showing the first 8 or so characters. Is there anyway to lengthen this without changing the column width?

Could you show a screenshot of what the problem is and the properties of the ComboBox?

Have a look at the Properties option for your combo box:
List width: Auto
Change to a numerical value ie 5 for 5cm width. See if that helps, and adjust for however long you need for your field.

This works for me on my Jurassic-era version of Access. Hope it helps with your db.
